HDR
Ask any photographer what they think about it and they will either love it or hate it. I LOVE high dynamic range photos and every time I see one I think to myself "that is so awesomely beautiful!" (I make up words all the time) Not all photos work well in HDR, I think too much negative space is a um... negative :-) Some of the most beautiful ones are of buildings and landscapes.
Generally you will want a subject that is not moving so you can bracket your photos, but you can also use one RAW image. I usually bracket three RAW photos at about +/- 2 stops, but the real magic is done in the post processing. The following photos I did not take as I am not lucky enough to travel EVER! But I can live vicariously through Trey Ratcliff on his website http://www.stuckincustoms.com/
And here are a few of my photos. I will be taking a trip to the Strand soon for more HDR inspiration.
yes you might have seen this one before on a previous post, you can see Jason moving in the left bottom corner and a boy falling down in the bottom center, ha ha again I need to use my masks and remove the ghosting.....
More HDR to come
